The London Assembly has launched a report into the provision of cinemas across London and the range of films on offer in these cinemas. The report finds that beyond the enviable cluster of cinemas in the West End, there are boroughs in Outer London that have little or no cinemas serving them and that for the most part where cinemas do exist, content is dominated by major blockbuster releases.
