What can you visit at City Hall?
Parts of City Hall are open to the public on Mondays to Thursdays, 8:30am to 6pm, and on Fridays, 8:30am to 5:30pm.
You can enjoy free W-Fi access throughout the building by logging in to City Hall Wi-Fi and using 'GLA Guest'.
Entrance and reception
When you arrive at City Hall you will come through the entrance doors and through our security checks. Our reception desk is located in the central atrium, our staff are available to point you in the right direction if needed.
Please note: in the interest of everyone’s safety and security, everyone visiting City Hall must pass through security at the entrance to the building. This includes going through a metal detector and having all bags scanned.
Londons Kitchen Café
Our café is located on the ground floor and has stunning views over the Royal Docks. It is open to the public from 8:30am to 4pm. Find out more.
The Chamber
Accessed via the café, the Chamber is where debates and Assembly meetings take place. If there is a public meeting taking place you are welcome to attend the meeting in the seating gallery. If no meeting is taking place you cannot enter the Chamber.
