Budget and Performance Committee
The Mayor oversees a total budget of £20.7 billion.
The London Assembly Budget and Performance Committee considers if this money is put to good use. The Committee scrutinises budget and performance in a wide variety of areas across the GLA and its functional bodies including:
The Budget and Performance Committee will question Transport for London (TfL), the Greater London Authority (GLA) and the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) on the 2025-26 GLA Budget.
- Wrote to the Mayor outlining several recommendations to reduce the amount of ULEZ debt owed to TfL.

- Responded to the Mayor's Draft Budget Consultation for 2022-23, highlighting the financial challenges the GLA Group faces - January 2022
- Questioned the Mayor on the Council Tax rise and how this would impact the lives of Londoners - January 2022
- Questioned the Deputy Mayor for Policing and Crime and the London Fire Commissioner on their Budgets for 2022-23 - December 2021
