Health and Wellbeing
We support health partners to improve London’s health services and create a healthier London for everyone.
Our vision for health
Health is more than just the absence of illness. It’s what allows us to live full and happy lives, achieve our potential, to take up all the opportunities of living in a great city like London. However too many Londoners still suffer from poor health, with the impact felt the hardest by the most deprived in our communities.
Although the Mayor is not responsible for commissioning or delivering health and care services, he plays an important leadership role by working with partners across London to support and promote good health.
The Mayor’s work to support the health and wellbeing of Londoners part of delivering his manifesto commitment to emerge from the pandemic a fairer, healthier and more equal London.
