Too many points to ponder but having people in charge who have no experience in high rise fires is sloppy and unprofessional .
The-policy of (in high rise) telling people to stay in their flat is wrong , eg Grenville Tower . You did not come back to get the people. Did you?
Err on the cautious rather than what you have done for “years”..

There is no mention of response times and if this is important when thinking of risk i believe this is directly linked to reduce the impact of the risk getting bigger by appliances arriving in a timely manner. Should this be a national standard?

The fire brigade needs to be well equipped to handle fires in high rise buildings. It needs to test the access to these buildings properly.

Fire regulations needs to be effective without adding huge financial burden to leaseholders. For example waking watch is ineffective and causes huge financial burden to leaseholders. You can't just keep passing on the costs to leaseholders. The government or property developers needs to step in to help with this. The whole situation has been very unfair to leaseholders who have bought their homes in good faith

Too many of the questions weren’t questions which could attract a negative response. Eg, question that effectively asks do we need right people with right skills. Who would say no? What do you learn from the answers? That we all want fire fighters to know what they’re doing when they respond to a fire? Was that in doubt?!

WORRIES
- some of world's most lax fire regs (no sprinkler requirements, no second fire escape)
- there is no high ladder despite living in the highest density area in England (E14).
- Stay Put policy is dangerous because buildings have not been built to regulation.
- Waking watches are entirely ineffective
- Those in high rises need advice on whether they should keep smoke hoods, fire blankets, extinguishers, etc at home. Especially those in high rises with flammable cladding.

The cycle lanes introduced in Enfield cause traffic to stop every time a bus stops and create traffic congestion. There cannot have been any risk assessment done on time added for emergency services to get to an incident in roads off the hertford road. AND the cycle lanes are hardly ever used for cycles ! main users are out of control electric scooters or parking at take aways, or fast food delivery scooters.

Our concerns are local and relate to the inability of a fire appliance to access our roads RM6 6ND which only have a single access point from the A118. Due to increasing population and controlled parking zones in other areas our roads are packed with cars that do not belong to residents but obstruct corners, are dumped causing a latent fire hazard, and prevent access for emergency vehicles. It has been an ongoing concern for us.

There is no space to say that your flat is leasehold - you may have paid the mortgage , but you are not an outright owner - your safety depends on your managing agent - you have not covered that anywhere in your survey - and this is one of the biggest problems in London

New Coolant tanks/tankers especially Aircraft Tankers with Rain drops mode are likely to boot precision levels of forest fires especially in high temperate conditions whereby dry powder and lukewarm water cannot necessarily boost our safe efforts.
