About us
Talk London is City Hall’s online community. Find out more about what we do.
Join us and have your say on big issues and help shape our plans and policies. Let’s make London better together!
Talk London
Our online community was set up in July 2012 so that City Hall could hear from Londoners about big issues that matter to them. It has since hosted most of City Hall’s consultations: from clean air to housing, and from the London Budget to the recovery from COVID-19, to name a few.
The more people we hear from on Talk London, the better informed our City Hall policy teams are.
By actively reaching out to Londoners, we’re aiming to make Talk London as reflective as possible of the London population. We love it when you spread the work about our community too!
You can read more about how we use your information in our privacy policy.
Why join?
Anyone aged 16 or older can join our community. It only takes a few minutes to create an account.
When you sign up, you’re all set to help shape policies and programmes in City Hall.
Together with our researchers and policy teams, we read and analyse your feedback to make sure City Hall’s plans and policies work for all Londoners.
I’ve really enjoyed participating for the past few years. I think the way the team operates the site with courtesy, knowledge and genuine enthusiasm holds it together as a community rather than as just another web forum.
Your services can really have an impact on people’s lives by providing a connection with authorities to work on improving the city together for the betterment of society.

More about City Hall
City Hall has one Mayor and 25 Assembly Members who are elected by Londoners. With the support of City Hall's staff they work to make London the best big city in the world. Also known as the Greater London Authority (GLA), it was created after a referendum in 1998. Londoners voted in favour of a directly elected Mayor to represent London's interests, and a London Assembly to scrutinise his work...
