Planning consultations

The Mayor's Planning Team carry out a range of consultations as part of their work assessing major planning applications and preparing the London Plan and the documents that support it.

Public hearings

In their role of making strategic planning decisions, the Mayor may occasionally take over an application, therefore becoming the local planning authority. They must then hold a public hearing before deciding whether or not to grant planning permission. This is preceded by a period of consultation where you can give your views on the application.

Details of any ongoing consultations can be found below.

Details of public hearings past and present can be found on our public hearings web page.

Details on how to comment on London Planning Guidance documents will be provided soon.
