London Careers Hubs

What is a Careers Hub?
The Careers Hubs are funded by the Mayor of London, The Careers & Enterprise Company and the European Social Fund.
A Careers Hub is a group of secondary schools, FE colleges, Alternative Provision and Special Schools in a dedicated area that work together to deliver high quality careers education for all students. Collaborating with employers, the public, education and voluntary sectors, they help deliver the Gatsby Benchmarks and improve careers outcomes for young people. You can find out more about the success of Careers Hubs in other areas of England by visiting The Careers & Enterprise Company's website.

Information for employers
Engagement with employers is central to the impact of any quality careers programme. We are always looking to increase our engagement with businesses from a range of sectors and sizes. If your organisation would like to engage with the Careers Hubs, speak to your local Careers Hub (see contacts above) or get in touch with us directly at [email protected].
There are three ways employers can get involved:
1. Volunteer with a school or college as an Enterprise Adviser and make a difference to the careers curriculum at your local school or college.
2. Become a Cornerstone Employer, part of a flagship group of employers that shape and influence the direction of the Hub and transform the lives of local young people in the area.
3. Give An Hour is a great way to make a difference as an individual or as team. Volunteer in schools or colleges to deliver careers activities or host an inspiring experience at your workplace.
To talk about the right opportunities in more detail email [email protected].
Information for students, parents and carers
All schools and colleges are required to share information about their careers offer on their website. This should include contact details for your school or college Career Leader. We will be sharing more opportunities and information about careers pathways in due course.
