The Mayor is committed to building a healthier and fairer city where every child has the chance to grow up healthy, safe and supported.

The Healthy Early Years London (HEYL) and Healthy Schools London (HSL) programmes are awards schemes that support and recognise achievements in child health and wellbeing in early years settings, childminders and schools.

The programmes aim to reduce health inequalities - unfair and avoidable differences in health between people and communities -  by supporting a healthy start to life across themes that include healthy eating, oral health, physical health, early cognitive development and mental health.

Discover how your school or early years setting can earn recognition—and help London’s children grow up healthier.
