Greater London Authority statement on Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The Greater London Authority (GLA) is publishing this daily update on behalf of the NHS and London Strategic Coordinating Group.

On Saturday 25 April, a further 64 people who tested positive for COVID-19 were confirmed to have died in hospitals in the Greater London area.

The total number of reported deaths in London hospitals of patients who tested positive for COVID-19 is now 4,606.

These figures will be published daily. They include confirmed hospital deaths reported at 5pm the previous day. Due to the reporting time, the figures may not include all deaths for that day and the deaths may have occurred prior to this 24-hour period. These figures do not include deaths related to COVID-19 outside of hospitals in the community.
