Housing Committee – 10am in Committee Room 5

The Housing Committee will examine the potential barriers faced when entering the housing market and discuss how the Mayor can improve competition in the sector.

The Committee will question the following guests:

Mayoral Carbon Reduction Targets

Environment Committee – 10am in the Chamber

The Environment Committee will discuss the progress made towards the Mayor’s carbon reduction targets and in particular the contribution of decentralised and renewable energy generation in London.

The Committee will question the following guests:

· Matthew Pencharz, Senior Mayoral Adviser Environment & Energy, GLA;

· Andrew Richmond, Policy & Programmes Officer, GLA;

· Afsheen Kabir Rashid, Co-founder Director of Repowering London, Chair of Brixton Energy;

Dot London

Budget Monitoring Sub-Committee – 2pm in Committee Room 2

The Budget Monitoring Sub-Committee will be speaking to London & Partners about expectations for the Dot London domain, which goes on sale in April, and in the second part of the meeting they will be looking at the performance of the London Fire Brigade.

The Committee will be questioning the following guests:

· Andrew Cooke, Chief Operating Officer, London & Partners; and

· Sue Budden, Director of Financial and Contractual Services, LFB.

Q&A

Police and Crime Committee – 10am in the Chamber

The Police and Crime Committee will be questioning Deputy Commissioner Craig Mackey and Deputy Mayor for Policing and Crime Stephen Greenhalgh about a range of policing issues. From 11.30am the Committee will also question the Mayor about undercover policing in the capital.
