Tomorrow, the London Assembly will hold a final vote on the Mayor’s Final Draft Consolidated Budget for 2021/22.
The latest budget plans published by the Mayor of London on 17 February 2021, shows a big increase in expected funding for upcoming work compared to what was presented to the London Assembly on 27 January 2021.
London Assembly Members will consider the Mayor’s budget plans for:
- Greater London Authority: Mayor of London and London Assembly
- Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (including the Metropolitan Police Service budget)
- London Fire Commissioner
- Transport for London
- London Legacy Development Corporation
- Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation
After questioning the Mayor, the Assembly will consider the Mayor’s Final Draft Consolidated Budget and whether to approve it, with or without amendment. The London Assembly can amend the draft budget if a majority of two-thirds agree to do so.

- Sadiq Khan, Mayor of London
- David Bellamy, the Mayor’s Chief of Staff
- David Gallie, Executive Director of Resources, GLA
The meeting will take place on Thursday, 25 February 2021 from 10 AM. In line with government advice, this meeting will take place virtually.
