Mayoral Development Corporations
There are currently two Mayoral Development Corporations within London. More information on these can be found below.
London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC)
London Legacy Development Corporation is the organisation behind Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. The Corporation was established in April 2012 to use the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games to develop a dynamic new heart for east London, creating opportunities for local people and driving innovation and growth.
After the Olympics ended, a Fixed Estate Charge (FEC) was developed to contribute towards the maintenance costs of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. The charge applies to commercial and residential occupiers on the Park, as outlined by the LLDC boundary.
The GLA has recently reviewed the operation of the FEC, following representations from the Chobham Manor Residents Association and, on their behalf, ward councillors and the local MP.

Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation (OPDC)
The Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation (OPDC) is a Mayoral Development Corporation (MDC), established by the Mayor of London in April 2015 to secure the regeneration of the Old Oak Opportunity area, spanning land in three London boroughs – Ealing, Brent and Hammersmith & Fulham.
OPDC works with the boroughs, residents, businesses and partners to capitalise on the significant HS2 and Elizabeth Line (Crossrail) investment at Old Oak Common and to drive forward the delivery of high quality homes and jobs, to facilitate London and UK growth and global competitiveness.
