The Environment Committee met with Transport for London (TfL) and with residents affected by noise and vibration from the Tube.
The committee heard about the residents’ experiences with Tube noise and the severe effects on their lives, and about TfL’s work to reduce the noise and vibration caused by the Tube.
The committee also took further evidence by email and telephone from residents unable to attend the meeting.
As a result, the Environment Committee has written to the Deputy Mayor for Transport outlining the issues raised and requesting an update on action to be taken.
