2020 update

The Mayor of London is seeking members to be part of his Liberty Advisory Group.

This year's annual Liberty festival was sadly cancelled owing to COVID-19.

However, the Mayor of London is committed to supporting the work and development of D/deaf, disabled and neurodivergent artists and is setting up the Liberty Advisory Group to help realise opportunities for 2021 and beyond.

Existing as a forum to discuss the vision, delivery and legacy of Liberty, we are looking for members with experience and working knowledge in programming and commissioning D/deaf and disabled-led work - as well as engaging with D/deaf and disabled-led audiences - to sit on the Liberty Advisory Group.

Selected members will be invited to attend meetings every 2 months, from February 2021 to 2024.

If you are interested in becoming a member of the Liberty Advisory Group, find out how to apply with this expression of interest pack.

The deadline for expression of interest submissions is 5pm on Monday 4 January 2021.

This document is also available as an Easy Read Guide and there is more information in the BSL captioned video below.
