The planning team at Transport for London (TfL) maintains the WebCAT online planning tool which gives Public Transport Access Level (PTAL) and Time mapping (TIM) for the Greater London area. However, all relevant data ceases at the GLA boundary making it unfit for purpose at the edges of London. Could this tool be expanded to show PTAL and TIM results beyond the GLA boundary?

In the Transport for London (TfL) press release for the consultation on cycling services through the Silvertown Road Tunnel, it is claimed that these services will support a growth in cycling. The Director of Investment and Delivery Planning at TfL is quoted as saying: “These cross-river cycling proposals are a key part of our commitment to ensuring that the Silvertown Tunnel supports growth in cross-river cycling use.” What growth in cycling are you expecting from these services, and what is the baseline you are going to measure any growth from?
