Noise and light pollution in London
Environment Committee – The Chamber, City Hall, Kamal Chunchie Way, 10am
Plans for a third runway at Heathrow Airport would create additional flight paths, meaning that more people will be affected by noise than if the airport stayed at two runways.
Noise and light pollution pose a threat to Londoners’ health. The Environment Committee will examine the impact of noise and light pollution in London and what the Mayor can do to help.

The full London Assembly will put questions to London’s Fire Commissioner and the Deputy Mayor for Fire and Resilience on the priorities and challenges facing the London Fire Brigade.
