Planning and Regeneration Committee
London is already eight times the size in population of the UK's second city Birmingham. Yet in the next 10 years, the capital is expected to grow again by the size of Birmingham's one million population. How can this be done in terms of housing, facilities, green space and quality of life?
The Planning and Regeneration Committee examines the Mayor's blueprint called the London Plan which is designed to answer these questions and also scrutinises the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC) and the Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation (OPDC).
