Roxanne Ohene

Biography

Roxanne joined the GLA in July 2023.  She had previously worked in the Civil Service for 20 years, across a range of departments including the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, Cabinet Office, the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy and the Home Office. She lives in South London with her husband and two sons.
 

To lead in designing and delivering the policies, strategies and programmes required to achieve the Mayor’s commitments on building safety. Ensure comprehensive and accurate programme management and reporting on programmes and targets, including the Social Sector Aluminium Composite Material (ACM) Cladding Remediation Fund, the Private Sector ACM Cladding Remediation Fund and the Building Safety Fund. Implementation of the directorate’s building safety investment programmes, development of the Mayor’s strategy on building safety in London and associated policy initiatives.
