Biography
Sam Hart is the Mayor’s Head of Media. She joined the Mayor’s press team as a senior press officer during Ken Livingstone’s mayoralty and served as Head of Media in Boris Johnson’s administration.
A qualified journalist, Sam started her career on local newspapers before moving into PR roles at the Metropolitan Police and Camden Council.
Responsibilities
Responsible for leading the Mayor’s Press Office to provide press/media and communications advice and services to the Mayor of London, the Deputy Mayors and their advisors and senior GLA officers.
To also provide press/media and communications advice to the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (as a shared service).
