The annual Housing in London report is the evidence base for the Mayor’s housing policies, summarising key patterns and trends across a wide range of topics relevant to housing in the capital. The report informs the development of the Mayor’s London Housing Strategy, the latest edition of which was published in May 2018.
The most recent Housing in London report was published in October 2020, with a revised edition incorporating some minor corrections published in March 2021. This report, as well as editions from previous years, can be found on the London Datastore pages.
Housing in London 2020 includes sections on London Housing Strategy monitoring and key statistics for London boroughs, as well as a new chapter examining the short-term impact of the Coronavirus pandemic on London. The report is divided into six core thematic chapters:
