Accessibility statement for Skills Gateway
This application is run by the Greater London Authority (GLA). We want as many people as possible to be able to use this application. For example, that means you should be able to:
- change colours, contrast levels and fonts
- zoom in up to 300% without the text spilling off the screen
- navigate most of the application using just a keyboard
- navigate most of the application using speech recognition software
- listen to most of the application using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver)
We’ve also made the application text as simple as possible to understand.

How accessible this service is
This application has been built to be as accessible as possible and has been tested against WCAG 2.1 AA. It is now fully compliant.

How we tested this application
This application was audited by Test Partners to ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA. They tested a sample of pages which reflected all the key user journeys for the Skills GAteway's target users. It was last retested in September 2020 and the outstanding issues fixed in October 2020.

As we are now fully compliant with WCAG 2.1 AA, we will aim to address any further issues we're informed of by our customers on a case-by-case basis. We will also ensure any new features comply with WCAG 2.1AA from the outset.
