Overview
The GLA would like consideration be given to the development of regional GDP estimates. A key part of our work is to evaluate how London’s economy is performing over time, and how it performs relative to the rest of the UK. Therefore, it is important to have a robust and coherent set of regional and national statistics. ONS estimates of output feed into our briefing, and our forecasts are dependent on this data.
