Ceramic inspired by David Attenborough
Description:
I made a ceramic piece about the natural world and inspired by David Attenborough because he helped look after endangered animals and global warming and he also spread awareness of it. I made my ceramic piece with clay and stamps to add details and I also used the slip and score method to add extra bits onto the pot to make it look more 3D.

The dog who went to space
Description:
This ceramic monument is a tribute to Laika the dog, one of the first animals in space to orbit the Earth. She died of overheating hours into the flight, on the craft's fourth orbit. Little was known about the effects of spaceflight on living creatures at the time of Laika's mission, and animal flights were viewed by engineers as a necessary precursor to human missions.
