What will the London Fire Brigade look like in five years?
The London Fire Commissioner is required to publish an Integrated Risk Management Plan, which sets out how to improve public safety, reduce the number of emergency incidents, and save lives.
The London Fire Brigade’s existing plan, known as the London Safety Plan, is due to expire in March 2022.
The Community Risk Management Plan (CRMP) is set to replace the London Safety Plan. However, this has been delayed until March 2023, with the current plan extended for another year.
The London Assembly Fire, Resilience and Emergency Planning Committee will meet tomorrow to discuss the progress and revised timeline of the CRMP, which will set out the Brigade’s strategy for the next five years.
The guests are:
- Andy Roe, London Fire Commissioner
- Dr Fiona Twycross, Deputy Mayor for Fire and Resilience
- Fiona Dolman, Director for Transformation, London Fire Brigade
The meeting will take place on Thursday, 3 February 2022 from 2pm, in Rooms G02 – G03 – G04, LFB Headquarters, 169 Union Street, London, SE1 0LL.
Media and members of the public are invited to attend.
The meeting can also be viewed LIVE or later via webcast or YouTube.
