London’s River Crossings

Transport Committee – 10am



With Hammersmith Bridge reopening to pedestrians and cyclists this weekend, the Committee will explore the management of river crossings on London’s transport network. It will examine how they should be managed in the future, given the number of ageing assets and extreme weather. The guests are:

Decarbonising London’s Homes: The Challenge of Retrofitting

Housing Committee – 10am

This meeting will focus on what is required by London’s existing housing to contribute to our climate commitments, mapping the scale of the challenge, the barriers and the costs and benefits which will likely be associated with any major programme of retrofitting in London.

The Committee will focus specifically on the financial requirements, skills capacity and quality assurance associated with retrofitting London’s homes. The guests are:

In the second part of the Police & Crime Committee investigation Assembly Members will question the Chair of the Daniel Morgan Independent Panel followed by questions to the Met Police Commissioner on the recommendations made in the report and to the Deputy Mayor for Policing and Crime. The Committee with hold a Question and Answer session with the Chief and Deputy Chief of Staff to the Mayor. The meeting will be an opportunity to explore the historic and future working relationship between the Mayor, Mayor’s team and London Assembly, with a view to improving accountability, communication and transparency.
