Best Public Sector Digital Project
Team London's app has been selected as one of the best in the UK in its category and is competing for the 'Best Public Sector Digital Project' at this year's V3 Digital Leaders Technology Awards in London.
The free app is a great example of how London is using technology to better connect with residents and build better, stronger communities.
Team London identified that time was a significant barrier to getting people to participate in volunteering or social action. The app offers hundreds of short, one-off volunteering opportunities that are easy to fit around existing commitments.
The V3 Digital Leaders Technology Awards exist to recognise the achievements of the individuals and companies who are challenging the norm and helping to revolutionise digital technology.
The Awards take place in London on 23 June 2016.
