Business owners need to know what the implications of Brexit will be for them. We have spoken with and listened to London’s business community who feel they have not had sufficient guidance from the government on how to prepare for Brexit. In response we have launched a Brexit business resource hub on the London Growth Hub to help businesses navigate the information and access the support that is available to them.

The hub covers the main Brexit considerations for businesses, as well as practical steps businesses can take to prepare for leaving the EU. A series of workshops, events and online guides are available to help with business planning and will be continually updated with news, fact sheets and events in London.

We recognise that there still significant uncertainty about the impact of Brexit. Some key implications for businesses that will be addressed are:

• employing EU nationals

• employment law and workplace rights

• exporting and international trade

• Brexit consideration for specific sectors and industries

• EU funding

• preparing for a ‘no-deal’ Brexit

London will always be one of the best cities in the world in which to do business – it is a successful, open, inclusive city which attracts people from all over the world.

Stay in the know and get support from City Hall from the The London Growth Hub.
