What progress has been made by The London Partnership Board?

Retrofit Accelerator
Created on
27 February 2024

The London Partnership Board (LPB) was formed in March 2023 to replace the London Recovery Board, which was created in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. It is co-chaired by Mayor Sadiq Khan and London Councils Chair, Councillor Georgia Gould.

The Board aims to address current and future challenges by convening city leaders, coordinating responses, and fostering collaboration at various levels. It builds on pandemic response experience, advocating for Londoners, amplifying diverse voices, and empowering partners for collective action.

The GLA Oversight Committee will meet tomorrow to scrutinise the work of the LPB and any progress made by the Board since their its meeting in October 2023.  The Committee will also look at how the Board has evolved from the London Recovery Board, evaluate its effectiveness and explore the future role of the Board.

The guests at the meeting will be;

  • Phil Graham, Executive Director, Good Growth, Greater London Authority (GLA)
  • Luke Bruce, Interim Executive Director of Strategy and Communications, GLA
  • Councillor Georgia Gould, Co-Chair of London Partnership Board and Leader of Camden Council
  • Piali Das Gupta, Director of Strategy, London Councils
  • Daniel Patridge, Co-founder and Director, Partnering Regeneration Development
  • James Lee, Disability campaigner and consultant

The meeting will take place on Wednesday 28 February from 10am, in The Chamber, at City Hall, Kamal Chunchie Way, E16 1ZE.

Media and members of the public are invited to attend.

The meeting can also be viewed LIVE or later via webcast or YouTube.
