London Fire Brigade fire rescue exercise
Created on
26 February 2024

The London Assembly Fire, Resilience and Emergency Planning Committee leads on the scrutiny of the London Fire Brigade (LFB), holding the Mayor and the London Fire Commissioner to account.

The Committee has carried out a number of investigations into the work of the LFB throughout the Assembly term, including LFB training, emerging fire hazards such as lithium-ion batteries, progress with the Culture Review and building safety.

Tomorrow, the London Fire Commissioner will face questions from the Committee on the work carried out by the LFB on the areas highlighted through the investigations.

The guests are:

  • Andy Roe KFSM, London Fire Commissioner

The meeting will take place on Tuesday 27 February 2024 from 10am, in the Chamber at City Hall, Kamal Chunchie Way, London, E16 1ZE.

Media and members of the public are invited to attend.

The meeting can also be viewed LIVE or later via webcast or YouTube.
