How is the Mayor delivering for Londoners on housing?

What are the current housing challenges facing Londoners and how can these be addressed by the Mayor?

The full London Assembly will meet tomorrow to discuss the delivery of housing in London, including housebuilding and building safety, housing supply, the private rented sector, and the London Plan.

The guests are:

  • Tom Copley, Deputy Mayor for Housing and Residential Development
  • Tim Steer, Executive Director of Housing and Land, Greater London Authority (GLA)
  • Kate Webb, Head of Housing Strategy, GLA
  • Lisa Fairmaner, Head of the London Plan and Growth Strategies, GLA
  • Fiona Fletcher-Smith, Chair, G15 Group of Housing Associations in London
  • Conor O’Shea, Policy and Public Affairs Manager, Generation Rent
  • Alistair Smyth, Director of Policy and Research, National Housing Federation
  • Robert Colvile, Director, Centre for Policy Studies

The meeting will take place on Thursday 7 December from 12.30pm, in the Chamber, at City Hall, Kamal Chunchie Way, E16 1ZE.

From 10am, ahead of the Q&A session, a number of motions will be debated.
