LFB Independent Culture Review – one year on

Fire, Resilience and Emergency Planning Committee – The Chamber, City Hall, Kamal Chunchie Way, 10am

What progress has been made in the year since a damning culture review found the London Fire Brigade (LFB) to be “institutionally misogynist and racist”?

The Fire, Resilience and Emergency Planning Committee will meet to examine the impact of Nazir Afzal OBE’s Independent Culture Review on staff, how they feel about the culture of LFB one year on, and how LFB is measuring the impact on staff.

Financial sustainability of the housing sector

Housing Committee – Committee Rooms 2&3, City Hall, Kamal Chunchie Way, 10am

There are major challenges facing the housing sector both in London and beyond, including building cost inflation and high interest rates leading to increased cost of financing.

The Housing Committee will meet to review market trends in housing delivery post-Brexit and post-pandemic, including drops in private housebuilding, and the impact that these will have on housing supply in London.
