Baroness Casey Review – one year on

In February 2022, The Baroness Casey of Blackstock DBE CB was commissioned to undertake an independent review into the standards of behaviour and internal culture of the Metropolitan Police Service.
One year on from the final report being published, what progress has the Metropolitan Police Service made on the recommendations within the report?
The Police and Crime Committee will meet to understand progress on Baroness Casey’s Review, the work of the London Policing Board and discuss the recently published Angiolini inquiry into the murder of Sarah Everard.

Q&A with Deputy Mayor for Environment and Energy
Environment Committee – The Chamber, City Hall, Kamal Chunchie Way, 2pm
Throughout the Assembly year, the Environment Committee has carried out a number of investigations into the work of the Mayor and Greater London Authority (GLA), as the Committee assess the Mayor’s progress in implementing the London Environment Strategy.
The Committee will question the Deputy Mayor for Environment and Energy, and senior GLA officers, on a range of topics including Solar Together, air quality, and London’s biodiversity.
