Fire, Resilience and Emergency Planning Committee – The Chamber, City Hall, Kamal Chunchie Way, 10am
The Fire, Resilience and Emergency Planning Committee Committee has carried out a number of investigations into the work of the LFB throughout the Assembly term, including LFB training, emerging fire hazards such as lithium-ion batteries, progress with the culture review and building safety.
The London Fire Commissioner and Deputy Mayor for Fire and Resilience will face questions from the Committee on the work carried out by the LFB on the areas highlighted through the investigations.

London Partnership Board
GLA Oversight Committee – The Chamber, City Hall, Kamal Chunchie Way, 10am
The London Partnership Board (LPB) was formed in March 2023 to replace the London Recovery Board which was created in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. It is co-chaired by Mayor Sadiq Khan and London Councils Chair, Councillor Georgia Gould.
The Board aims to address current and future challenges by convening city leaders, coordinating responses, and fostering collaboration at various levels. It builds on pandemic response experience, advocating for Londoners, amplifying diverse voices, and empowering partners for collective action.
The GLA Oversight Committee will meet to scrutinise the work of the LPB and any progress made by the Board since their last meeting in October 2023.

Gender informed planning
Planning and Regeneration Committee, The Chamber, City Hall, Kamal Chunchie Way, 10am
A 2018 UK Parliament report on the sexual harassment of women and girls in public places stated that sexual harassment in public spaces is overwhelmingly experienced by women and girls.
The Planning and Regeneration Committee will meet to investigate the impact of the planning system on women and girls in London.
The Committee will also look at what work the Mayor and the Greater London Authority (GLA) are doing to address gender bias in the planning system.
