London's social housing architecture
Planning and Regeneration Committee – The Chamber, City Hall, Kamal Chunchie Way, 10am
The London Assembly Planning and Regeneration Committee is carrying out an investigation into how the design of social housing has changed over the years, with a particular focus on the impact that cost and sustainability have had on designs.
The Committee will meet to discuss whether the Mayor and Government prioritise cost of social housing over design and aesthetics.

How the Thames can help London surge to net zero

The River Thames will play a vital role if London is to meet its net zero 2030 target, but what opportunities and challenges are associated with producing renewable energy from London’s main waterway?
The London Assembly Environment Committee will meet for the second of two meetings investigating water and London’s rivers, including looking at how the Thames could be used to produce renewable energy for the city, as well as a range of other topics including water quality, river emissions, and progress on the Tideway tunnel and towards a new Thames Barrier.
