Lift-off for West Hampstead Station

Labour London Assembly Member for Barnet and Camden Anne Clarke has welcomed news that TfL are commencing design work on West Hampstead’s Jubilee Line station to have step-free access lifts installed.

Ms Clarke said:

‘I am pleased to see plans for the West Hampstead Jubilee Line Station are progressing. It is vital that we keep investing in our transport network to make it as accessible as possible. I have been campaigning for many years alongside local Councillors, the local MP and residents to make this station step-free, joining the Thameslink and Overground stations to make a fully accessible interchange between three different rail services.’
