Luke Webster

Biography

Luke has worked at the GLA since 2010, and since 2013 has combined his role with other senior finance, risk and investment positions in the public and private sector, including pensions and private equity. As Chief Investment Officer, he oversees the GLA’s shared corporate treasury function and acts as Managing Director of the GLA’s FCA-regulated investment management company, London Treasury Limited.

Luke read Mathematics at Magdalene, Cambridge and Applied Statistics at Birkbeck College. He is a fully qualified member of CIPFA and Vice-Chairman of CIPFA’s Treasury and Capital Management Panel.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the leadership and performance of the Group Treasury Team, managing investments, borrowing, major project finance and corporate financial risk and for contributing proactively and collaboratively to the Resources Directorate Management Team.
