Biography
Ellen joined the GLA in 2017 and has worked in a number of different roles in Housing and Land, including in a job share as Interim Head of Housing Strategy and as a Senior Manager in the Building Safety Team.
Ellen started her career in the voluntary and community sector supporting organisations working in the field of violence against women and girls in London, before moving to a policy and advisory role in a London borough working variously for the Leader, Chief Executive and scrutiny committees.
Responsibilities
Ellen leads the team responsible for the delivery of the Mayor’s Specialist Housing and Services revenue and capital programmes, working closely with partners across the GLA and with providers, boroughs and London Councils to develop and meet London’s specialist housing needs through the delivery of capital investment and services in order to support vulnerable Londoners.
