Biography
Anna has worked in a range of public sector and not for profit organisations prior to joining the GLA in July 2020. Anna spent ten years at Essex County Council leading teams including the social care finance team and the strategic finance team during that time.
Most recently Anna has spent four years as Resource Director in a housing association. Anna is a fellow member of CIPFA.
Responsibilities
To lead an effective and responsive financial services function taking overall leadership on all financial issues for the GLA.
Responsibilities include, leading the:
- Finance Business Partner Teams
- development of the draft component budget and Capital Programme for the GLA
- Technical Accountancy Team to ensure the Authority’s accounts are closed by statutory deadlines
- achievement of efficiency and effectiveness across the GLA Group and the wider London public sector through promoting and delivering collaboration and shared services.
