The Greater London Authority and the City Hall Branch of the Royal British Legion are this year hosting their Annual Service of Remembrance at Southwark Cathedral on Friday 12 November from at 10.40am.

The theme of the service this year will be the 100th anniversary of the Royal British Legion and we will remember the years of support they have given to serving and ex-serving personnel and their families. The service also commemorates the members and officers of London government organisations who died on active service in the two World Wars and other conflicts.

The Very Revd, Andrew Nunn, Dean of Southwark, will lead the service, with the address given by The Rt Revd Christopher Chessun, Bishop of Southwark. It will be attended by Armed Forces representatives, public service and faith organisations, reserves, cadets, London borough Mayors and senior representatives of London government.

The Remembrance Service 2021, which was live streamed on 12 November 2021, can be watched below.
