Sian Berry AM has criticised the Mayor’s refusal to commit to long-term funding for youth services, making clear that young people’s lives and wellbeing are on the line. This followed the Mayor recognising Sian for her consistent advocacy, which has secured support for 350,000 young people across London. [1]
In recent times, the Labour opposition to the government has watered down its support for renters, refusing to back rent controls should they win the next election. Even their voters disagree with them: the same YouGov poll finds that 82 per cent of Labour voters likewise support rent controls.
