London's Great Outdoors: Grow Mayow
Grow Mayow is a garden and community food growing space in Mayow Park, Sydenham. Initial work was funded by the Capital Growth food growing scheme. Pocket Park funding has helped this derelict park keeper’s depot become an inviting place for all.
There are now edible beds, a living table and a woodland meadow area. The garden has been designed to promote healthy eating, outdoor learning and children’s play.
