Public Land

The GLA is working with public sector landowners to accelerate the release of land in London for much needed housing.

The Public Land team enables collaboration and speeds up delivery by facilitating knowledge sharing, brokering relationships and partnership, and providing technical land and development expertise to support the work of government departments and GLA Group bodies. Public Land also brokers access to, and interventions from, the GLA’s Land Fund to accelerate and unlock public sector land projects, and manages the Small Sites x Small Builders programme which enables release of small sites for development.
