Join Code1 Community Group as they celebrate local volunteers by hosting and filming a “plant a plant and spoken word” day at a local community garden. Our local volunteers, some 50 plus from all cultural backgrounds, have had to work tirelessly throughout the lockdown and at times struggle with their own mental health and sustainability. We want to provide an event that gives them an opportunity to plant their own plant, do some community spray paint art on a wall that we have been allocated and take part in a creative writing workshop.
