After two years of online events and programmes, Ramadan Tent Project is delighted to bring you our first series of live in-person events starting with Open Iftar Arafah! A celebration of the holiest day of the Islamic calendar, bringing communities together safely and socially distanced, a special tribute to our remarkable key workers! Ramadan Tent Project will also be commemorating the 10 holiest days in the Islamic calendar; the first 10 days of the Islamic month of Dhul Hijjah - the month where the pilgrimage to Makkah (Hajj) takes place. On the 9th day of Dhul Hijjah, otherwise known as the Day of Arafah, millions of Muslims and non-pilgrims across the globe mark this blessed and holiest day of the year by fasting from dawn to dusk.
More information about these 10 days and tips on how to make the most of them can be found via our blog:
Join us as we extend a warm welcome and invitation to our heroic key workers and frontline staff for a safe and socially distanced Open Iftar Arafah on Monday 19th July. Registration open to key workers and their respective families, with further announcements to be made for tickets to be made available to the general public.
The venue for Open Iftar Arafah will take place in a Central London location (to be announced).
Register your place today for an inspiring evening of inspiration, great speakers, wonderful community spirit, sense of belonging, engaging conversations and of course, great food!
