Join Black Female Entrepreneur Greenwich as they host the Africa Festival in Greenwich, they will celebrate the best of African dishes and the popular west African rice dish 'Jollof Rice'.

The event will be a traditional African food competition, with Judges and food critics eating and tasting African dishes. Prizes will be awarded to those that come first, second and third.

Food plays a very important role in African events and celebrations, no matter what the occasion. A typical West African meal is made with starchy items and can contain meat, fish as well as various spices and herbs. A wide array of staples are eaten across the region, including fufu, banku, kenkey (originating from Ghana), foutou, couscous, tô, and garri, which are served alongside soups and stews.

The Africa Festival Food event will be attended by representatives from different communities, community leaders and councillors.

The event will be live streamed on all BFEG Facebook page.
