Grants open for bids

Civil Society Roots 3 - Round Two

Following the successful launch of Round One of the Civil Society Roots 3 funding programme, The Mayor of London, in partnership with City Bridge Trust (CBT) and The National Lottery Community Fund (NLCF) invites equity-led organisations to invest in their roots and foundations by applying for Round Two of the Civil Society Roots 3 programme.

Round Two of the programme aims at funding ideas of equity led groups which develop new sectoral or cross sectoral partnerships, invest in capacity building, research or training or enable space and time to think about what our communities need most.

The funding is specifically aimed at supporting organisations to be in a stronger place to respond to and serve the increasing and ever-changing needs of our communities and is not for delivery of front-line activity.

Find out more about the fund and details on how can apply in our webpages and the grant prospectus.

We Design for the Community

‘We design for the community’ pairs cultural and community organisations who need communications support with design students. The students help organisations improve their communications strategy under the guidance of design industry professionals. The aim of the programme is to foster a collaborative design process where organisations, designers and students bring expertise, creativity and enthusiasm to develop bespoke solutions together. The programme is free to take part in and students receive London Living Wage for their consultancy work.

Culture and Community Spaces at Risk

The Culture and Community Spaces at Risk programme provides expertise to help protect against threats to London’s cultural and community-led spaces, and directly support organisations working to save spaces at risk. This involves collaborating with cultural and community-led organisations, local authorities, developers, and other stakeholders to help spaces survive and thrive.

To find out more, please visit the Culture and Community Spaces at Risk page.

The Culture and Community Spaces at Risk programme has also compiled a resources page for cultural and community organisations. This includes advice, guidance and support schemes. We are updating this list regularly. If you are aware of other funding opportunities that may be useful to include, please email us at [email protected].
