Around 404,000 households in London are affected by fuel poverty. Rising housing costs and energy prices, along with stagnating wages and reductions in benefits for the most vulnerable households, means that some Londoners have really been hit hard.

The Mayor is funding free local energy advice services for vulnerable Londoners and those on low incomes. They can advise on financial help and advise you on heating your home and any energy or water debt that clients have.

Services offered include:

  • advice on saving energy and tackling dampness and mould
  • home energy visits to offer tailored advice and fit smaller energy saving measures
  • support with applications for Warmer Homes
  • energy and water debt relief assistance and billing disputes
  • priority Services Register enrolments
  • help in applying for discounts on energy and water bills
  • fire safety checks.

Please contact the Warmer Homes Advice Service provider for your borough.
