In his first public question and answer session as the new Chief Executive of the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC) – the London Assembly will ask David Goldstone CBE how much progress has been made to deliver the regeneration legacy we were promised. Mr Goldstone took up the post at the beginning of October and the Regeneration Committee wants to know what his priorities will be and if there are plans to change the way the LLDC operates or its focus. Two years on, where are we with the regeneration of Stratford and the surrounding area in terms of jobs, housing and transport links?
Does the LLDC face a revenue shortfall in 2015-16 and beyond?
How will the new stadium operator be incentivised to make sure it is used fully?
How is the LLDC ensuring local people benefit from employment, skills and housing opportunities?
What progress has been made with the Olympicopolis project – the higher education and cultural hub planned for the south of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park?
