Mental health in London – report publication

£26 billion is lost from London’s economy each year as a result of mental ill health through reduced productivity. London’s ethnic minority populations are particularly at risk - but too often people only receive help when the problem becomes a crisis.

The London Assembly Health Committee calls for a greater focus on early intervention and prevention, particularly among young people and those from a Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) background.
